It’s been said many times over. Many women aspire to get the glamorous looks of celebrities, but we just cannot seem to figure out what lipsticks to use to accentuate our lips and make them stand out from the crowd. Recent trends show that less is more. Many professionals and celebrities go through many different brands and types, but they find that choosing the right nude lipsticks has the best results.
Brand: Smashbox Be Legendary
Product: Pretty Social
We have chosen to review the Smashbox Be Legendary Pretty Social because it’s a cream shade everyone has been raving about recently. Upon getting the product we have to say we’re really pleased with the packaging. The lipstick has a rich look and feel to it because of it’s gently squared-off edges. The weight isn’t too heavy so it’s easy to handle. The cap clicks firmly in place which is reassuring. It’s unlikely this lipstick will open itself up inside your purse like some cheap brands can.
One of the more difficult problems we come across when we pick the best nude lipstick for ourselves is that we judge our skin shades wrong. Finding your skin undertones is a complicated matter for a lot of us because there are many factors that influence it. For instance, not only the color of our skin is important, but it’s also important to find out what undertones our veins produce.
Deep down, no matter how much we try to deny it, most of us women are the same. We just cannot leave the house without looking our best. We spend hours upon hours thinking about our appearance, following our favorite celebrities setting the trends, and we spend copious amounts of money on make-up to feel our best or to look just like them.
Brand: Revlon Colorburst
The Revlon Colorburst lipstick is probably one of the cheapest nude lipsticks we have reviewed thus far. It’s extremely low price makes it very popular for ladies on a budget, but how does it stack up against the luxury brands?
